MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking energetic Member Service Representatives (MSRs) with an outstanding positive and flexible attitude, enthusiasm for building member relations and strong multi-tasking and verbal communication skills for our Bellwood and Laburnum locations.

MSRs create an exceptional first impression to our members and potential members. Duties include welcoming members in person and by phone, directing members in a friendly, professional manner based on their specific needs, providing general Credit Union information, opening deposit accounts, entering and updating member information, performing financial transactions (including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, cash advances, etc.) as well as a variety of other functions related to Credit Union operations.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy communicating with people. Relationship-building skills are a plus. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional member service, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of member satisfaction is desired. Ability to promote use of credit union products and services in an open and friendly manner is required. A great internal service commitment and ability to work well within a team-focused environment is also required. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have great attention to detail to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

TELLER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and with confidence are a must. CONTACT CENTER FINANCIAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a Contact Center Financial Service Representative to assist members with a broad variety of member service functions through multiple delivery channels, including (but not limited to) opening accounts; actively cross-selling Credit Union services; conducting loan interviews; answering members’ questions; and performing account maintenance. Attends to all member inquiries and transactions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, and cash advances. Conducts in-depth member financial interviews. Provides exceptional service by processing members' financial transactions with accuracy and offering solutions to meet their financial needs. Positive and flexible attitude, enthusiasm for multi-tasking, and strong verbal communication skills are required.


The successful candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of Credit Union products and services and thorough working knowledge of member service operations and procedures. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Candidate must enjoy communicating with people and demonstrated relationship building skills. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and with confidence are a must. Strong active listening skills. Able to promote use of products and services in an open and friendly manner. Good analytical and financial skills, capable of making quality judgements. An active learner who understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. A great internal service commitment and ability to work well within a team-focused environment is also required. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have great attention to detail to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency. A positive and flexible attitude and enthusiasm for multi-tasking are also required.

High school graduate (or equivalent) and at least three years of sales or service experience in a financial services environment [credit union preferred or a similar retail services environment]; two-year college degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field is preferred; previous Contact Center or Call Center experience is desired; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
