TRAINING MANAGER (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a professional, energetic, self-motivated Training Manager to champion employee learning and organizational development at Henrico Federal Credit Union.

Reporting to the Vice President of Administration, this individual will be responsible for developing a highly-effective team of exceptional employees through training, coaching, and leadership. Other essential job functions include identifying training needs, developing training activities, designing support materials including training presentations and procedural manuals, delivering blended-learning training sessions, and maintaining a training resource library and records.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. This position requires someone with high energy, enthusiasm and a motivational training style, who can achieve extraordinary business results through employee development. Exhibits confidence in self and others.  Displays passion and optimism. Motivates others to fulfill our purpose and contributes to building a positive team spirit.  Excellent organizational, leadership, and coaching skills are a must.

Other required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

A four-year college degree in adult education, training & development, human resources, or any related field, with a minimum of five years of previous training and organizational development experience and advanced experience with building and delivering training curriculums is required; direct credit union or financial services experience desired; Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification, CUNA Facilitator or other coaching and leadership certification preferred; sales and service culture training experience is a plus; along with demonstrated skill in the use of personal computers and software related to facilitating presentations and training; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

TELLER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

Duties include handling requests for products and services, opening accounts, conducting loan interviews, resolving issues and offering financial solutions, while ensuring exceptional internal and external service with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

The successful candidate must enjoy communicating with people and have demonstrated excellent relationship-building skills. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and with confidence are a must. A great internal service commitment and ability to work well within a team-focused environment is also required. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have great attention to detail to perform a variety of tasks with efficiency. Must process members’ financial transactions with accuracy and offer solutions to meet their financial needs. A positive and flexible attitude and enthusiasm for multi-tasking are also required.

Completion of high school education (or equivalent) and two years of similar or related experience in sales or lending in a financial services environment (credit union, preferred); previous cash handling experience is desirable; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
