Deposit Checks on Your Phone

Mobile Deposit is a fast and easy way to bring the convenience of a branch to you. Mobile Deposit provides you with an easy way to quickly deposit checks while you are on the go with your iOS™ or Android™ smartphone or tablet. 

Start here for New Mobile Banking users:

• Create a username on the Henrico FCU Internet Banking page 

Create a username and password

Select and answer your security questions

• Download the Henrico FCU mobile app from iTunes or the Google Play Store

• Open the app, log in with your HFCU login username and password you use to access Internet Banking

• Follow the three steps pictured below

  • Log in to Mobile Banking using the same user name and password you use to login to Henrico FCU Internet Banking 
  • Select Mobile Deposit  from the  menu
  • Read and click Accept to agree to the Mobile Deposit Terms and Conditions

  • Endorse your check using the following as an example:
    • Mobile Deposit Only to 12345 S8 on mm/dd/yy
  • Click Deposit Check

  • Tap the camera within the app to take a picture of the front and back of the check
  • Enter the amount of the check
  • From the drop-down menu, choose the account you want the funds deposited
  • Click Make Deposit to submit your deposit
  • Enter the email address where you would like to receive your deposit confirmation

You will receive an email that the deposit has been received.  Another email will follow once the deposit has been approved. The funds will be deposited to your account during the next processing cycle.

Review your account history and available balance within Mobile Banking to ensure the deposit has posted to your account.

After a successful deposit, retain the check for 15 business days.

Mobile Deposit Limits

Mobile Deposit allows you to make check deposits, up to $1,000 daily (5 aggregate items maximum) or $2,500 (15 aggregate items maximum) in a rolling 30-calendar day period to your Credit Union savings and/or checking accounts from remote locations by capturing an image of both sides of checks and delivering the check images and associated deposit information to the Credit Union or it’s designated third-party service provider. Other deposit limits may be available based on your individual relationship with the Credit Union. Please review the Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit Terms and Conditions for additional details.
